Sourcing the approved products from across the globe and delivering it to site by sea, air or courier shipment involves a complex process that requires careful planning, coordination, documentation and execution. The process identifies the right price, delivery time, reputation and support of the manufacturer. Once this is identified, procurement will negotiate contracts, place orders and arrange for payment through telex transfers or other payment methods. The next stage involves managing the logistics of transporting the products from the manufacturer to the site. This can involve sea, air, or courier shipments depending on the nature of the products and the urgency of the delivery. It will be coordinated with the logistics team to ensure that the products are delivered on time, well packed in good condition. They will also work with custom brokers to ensure that all required documentation, permits, and inspections are in place to facilitate smooth customs clearance. Throughout the process, we will monitor and track the progress of the shipments and provide regular updates to the project team.
